Recent Experience At Bali Consulate?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Can't find any recent insight into the Bali consulate - heading there next month. Any recent experience or current contact info would be very helpful.

I was recently married here in BKK and will be applying for a Non-O visa, would be good to know what they require other than a marriage certificate/fee/passport/photo/letter from wife and copy of her passport (she will be with me). Money in the bank?

Hoping to land a multi-entry but realize that's not so likely in the region.

Thanks!

If you are going for a multiple entry, the consulate in Savanakhet (Laos) will issue a multiple without the need of showing money.

Good to know. I'm booked for a five-day holiday in Bali so will be giving it a shot regardless, but if it doesn't work out I'll probably just make a run over to Savanakhet.

Cheers.

I asked for info about the Bali consulate aswell, no answers, I have been trying to email them and call them for the last week, no reply!

I heard from a friend in Bali that the Thai consul is not very reliable, sometimes he is there, but can disappear for days.

So good luck.

Disappear for days? Hmm I hope that doesn't happen. There's always Laos I suppose.

Embassies and consulates never reply, I don't know why people bother.

Very very cool, and thanks for the lesson! I love your unique ink!
