I have been staying in chiang mai the past two winters with increasing durations and have loved every minute of it. The previous 2 winters I stayed at a place that had a swimming pool. I love to swim and truly enjoyed the afternoon swimming sessions and vigorous exercise. This coming winter it looks like I might be staying at a place which doesn't have a swimming pool. I was wondering if anyone could recommend facilities or hotels which let you use their swimming pool for a nominal fee. Thank you for any information which might be forthcoming.

There's a pool at the top of one the hotels next to Kad Suan Kaew - can't tell you which one, there are two and I always get them mixed up. I think it's free for guests, if you can convince them you're staying there, otherwise I think it's 100B.
