Hi I have a surround sound system, satellite, DVD player , karaoke , apple tv box had a guy from Home pro were we bought some of these and he set them up . Surround sound does not work with the Tv and the karoke we Need to turn on the DVD player ! What a <deleted>,,, mess .

Does any one know of a good technician that really knows how to set up a home theatre system?

The karaoke box should be connected straight into your Surround sound amplifier. Check the cable running from the karaoke box and see which input on the surround sound amplifier it is connected to. Then choose that input on the remote.

If that doesnt work then you will need to call in reinforcements to see what has been plugged in where.

I'm confused. Surely you meant "I really want no sound from my karaoke unit...these things are the spawn of Satan"?
