This is my third Christmas in CM.

I have never known weather like this before.

I live juts a few miles from the mountain, I have not seen it in three days!!

It got very cold a week ago with the winds that were around, obviously you all know it's not so cold now, just foggy and miserable and quite wet.

I am not complaining because I am not sweating and can actually "Do jobs round the house" But I have a lot of visitors coing here for the fisrt time on Thursday and I fear they will be a bit dissapointed if it stays like this.

What is the experience of you "Oldtimers" (no disrespect) who have been here a long long time.

Has it been like this before the las 3 years?

I would be very interested to know.

Cheers

Around 12 or 13 years ago it was so cold in winter that you had to wear long pants and a jacket all day long. It lasted for a week or so around Christmas time.

I don't mind though. There are so few days that I'm not broiling! :o

Can anyone give me an update on the weather? I'll be up in CM tomorrow. Are we talking sweaters in the daytime, or thick anoraks? How about in the evening? It just got warm again in Bangkok.

warm as toast today..High of 31C low around 14-15C. Should be the same for the next 4-5 days according to the weather report.

Delightful weather for cycling, just now, but the Xmas-week was really strange. Cloudy & cool & not a glimpse of the sun.

We were totally misty-fied for a week :o
