When To Do 90 Day Report On Non-Imm "O?"

Featured Replies

The date for my next 90 day report on my non-imm "O" extension visa is June 25. However, I will left Thailand for songkran and returned on April 20. I asked the immigration officer if this re-entry meant that my next 90 day report would be July 20 instead of June 25. He said yes. Is this correct?

Yes 90 days from April 20th.

The new reporting date will be 90 days from April 20.

The 90 days starts over again counting the day that you entered. If you entered on 20 April, your "official" 90 day report date is 17 July. If you do it in person you can be 15 days early or 7 days late without penalty. If you do it by post it must arrive on or before the due date.

The reporting is for 90 consecutive days staying in the Kingdom, if you leave during that period then the clock restarts when you enter.
