Visa Extension In Bangkok- How Do I Get There

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I have to go to the Immigration bureau in bkk and Ive heard its in the outer suburbs....Chaing Watanna Road, Soi 7

Does anyone know a bus that I can catch from the Khao san road area to Chaing Watanna Road, Soi 7. Even if its somewhere close and I can get a taxi to the bureau.

thanks

Why not just take a taxi and be done with it?

You cna take bus numer 3 to Chatuchak and take a taxi from there for 100 baht. Otherwise ask there again for a suitabale bus. There might be one from Victory monument, ask the minibuses there.

for less than another 100 baht the op could take a taxi the entire distence and get there quicker andin AC comfort. I can get there from Asok for less than 170 baht.

Sky train to Morchit or subway to Lad Prao will get you closer also.

Minivans at Mochit (on the side next to the parks), have "Government Complex" stickers on the windscreens.

Or if you want to travel with the wind in your hair try the bus 52 (I think or could be 51), some of them have the words"Government Complex" painted on the sides.
