May 16, 201214 yr I have two questions and appreciate anybody who can answer these. Question #1: I have a double entry tourist visa from the United States. I've already used up the 60 days and then extended for an additional 30 days in Jomtien, so I'll have to do a visa run to Malaysia or Cambodia before June 5th, which is when the 30 days will be finished. But how soon can I do this? Do I have to wait until June 4th/June 5th to do this, or can I do it this week or a few days or weeks in advance, and still have the 60 days start on the 5th? Question #2: My Tourist Visa from the United States says "Enter before June 25, 2012". So let's say I've already used the first 90 days, and now get an additional 60 days. Can I still extend it even further to get the 30 days extension again if I visit the Jomtien immigration again AFTER June 25? Thanks
May 16, 201214 yr #1 Yes you can go early but the 60 days will start from the date you enter Thailand. #2 No problem with the 2nd renwal after the 'Enter Before' date written on your visa (this only applies to border entries) , but you must renew before the 'Until' date stamped in your passport - the 30 days will run starting from the 'Until' date, not the actual date of renewal.

May 17, 201214 yr Ok thanks for the response DigitalChromaKey, that solves that. Much appreciated. The simple answer is you have to leave before June 5th, you can re-enter whenever you want but it needs to be before June 25th to use the second entry of your Tourist Visa, you aren't renewing anything it's a new entry. You can apply for an extension of your permission to stay near the end of the 60 days allowed upon entry, it doesn't make any difference about the visa date, it's finished upon entry, what is important is your permission to stay date.
