OK, mechanically I'm a bit of a numpty, so hopefully you guys can help me.

I'm thinking of buying a CRF 250, but I want a motard one. Is it just a matter of sticking some 17 inch wheels on with sticky tyres? Obviously the front of the bike will be lower than with the standard wheels on, will this completely mess up the handing as the weight distribution and geometry will alter? Will this make it look odd?

Could you fit the cbr wheels on it?

Do you need to compensate with the suspension? If so what?

Is the dtracker exactly the same as the klx, wheels apart?

Thank you in advance,

Mjj

Yes you can just put 17 inch wheels on it. Supermotos usually have spoked wheels so the CBR wheels would look weird in my opinion and I don't even know if the hubs are the same.

What you need to do is buy two new wheel hubs from Honda and then get them fitted to 17" rims from somewhere else.
