Thai PM Yingluck To Visit Australia This Week

Featured Replies

It's so sadly and pathetically predictable.............

A PM is going to another country on State business.

This does happen.

Maybe it's noteworthy that the Australian Government obviously take her seriously.

The Australian Government and Juliar Gillard are very unpopular in Australia, they will try anything to increase support even pay for a Thai diversion to give the voters a good laugh.

The Australia government is paying not the Thai Government, they are all going as guest of the Australian Government, that is very clear in the article.

Could you clarify where it says this? I seem to be missing this...

You're American.............you're therefore excused from understanding.

Well, tie me kangaroo down mate, this is so exciting. I'm hoping some of the Aussie's on here have friends back home who report the wonderful visit in all it's glory.

Dee mark

Again!!?? What a joke. Just keeps on taking holidays.

Another 4 day holiday paid for by the tax-payers.

This lady keeps on avoiding being in Thailand.

Running away from her obligations.

I have never seen a leader that travels soo much.

Good luck Thailand with this "responsible" leader.

You best read the article it says they will be the guest of Australia. Not one word about who pays the air fare. When you have guests visiting from your home country do you pay their air fare and all their meals. I would take it to mean housing will be provided for free.

But I could be wrong on that.

Now what in the world is Thailand going to have to offer in this little jewel

"and the exchange of information on science and technology"

Even many Ozzies have trouble understanding Julia Gillard's broad Orstraylian accent! Can only wish the PM good luck with all that!

I am sure she once again will "overcome"wink.png
