Auto Theft Gang members arrested following routine drug arrest in Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A routine drugs arrest of one man led to the further arrest of two others in connection to an outstanding case of auto theft from Nakhon Sawan Province in Central Thailand.

Police Colonel Supatee, Deputy Provincial Police Commander led a press conference at Banglamung Police Station on Thursday to announce the arrest of Khun Tanasak aged 29, Khun Egarin aged 29 and Khun Wasan aged 23. Khun Tanasak was arrested on minor drugs charges and a routine check on the national police crime database revealed he was wanted in connection to a case of auto theft.

The two other men were then arrested and there are thought to be at least two other men involved in the auto theft which involves them stealing a vehicle to-order from one province and then taking the vehicles to Pattaya to sell.
