I've got a work permit and Non--Immigrant B Visa which expires next Monday, 28 May.

I've got all the paperwork I need to renew the Visa.

Can I renew my Visa on 28 May (same day old Visa expires) or do I have to renew Visa before the day old one expires?

I need to know today, because immigration is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

You should renew at Immigration before the old one expires, I always do mine about 2 weeks before.

You should be okay at Immigration, but suggest next time you want to renew do not leave it sooo late, put it in your diary.

You can not renew a visa so suspect you have a one year extension of stay (or other set period) issued by immigration and that should have been renewed by now; but yes go today if you can. Monday should also work but leaves you no time to get additional paperwork if required. Normally renewal is done a week or two early.

If all the paperwork for the one year extension is in order, I can still renew on Monday (same day it expires) right?

Yes Monday should be OK if everything in order.

The big word being "if".

Paperwork in order okay no problems, but anything missing or whatever then depends on the officers discretion.

If you tell them directly when entering that you're sorry you come so late, but you just arrived (and they can see the entry stamp) they should not even be complaining about it. Officially no problem as still within the valid date, and from personal experience as well...

Used to be a problem as you then had to run to labor office the same day as you couldn't extend this before extending your visa, but those rules changed luckily. I just extended my work permit two months befor exp. date :-)
