Hi there,

I am now with a visa exemption stamp (the 30 days on arrival) and want to extend for 7 days. Is this extension beginning from the day you do it, or beginning at the end or the allowed stay?

The information is a bit mixed. Best is to do it the last day.

You might need to show a ticket out within 7 days.

Anyone who did this recently can throw some info about the ticket thing? I am planning to go to Chaeng Wattana

Thai Immigration will add 7days from the expiry date onwards.

Ticket is actually not required, just photo, copy passport with arrival stamp n card, thb1900.-.

    Just went to immigration today. Gave the form + photo + passport copies + 1900 THB to the officer and got my 7 day extension in about 15 minutes
