Calls To Uk From Thailand/Thailand To Uk

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I'm sure this is one of those questions which is always asked, so forgive a novice like me asking it one more time, but does anyone know a cheap way to make calls to the UK from Thailand and vice versa?

Skype: 1.6p per minute or free if calling a computer.

Yep, skype

Skype is okay. Alternatively you can use various telephone access numbers that you dial before the number - most are either 1P or 2P per minute for normal phone to phone contact. The cost just shows up on your telephone bill - there is no advance payment involved. Just google "telephone access numbers" to get latest ones. This works from the UK to Thailand, but I don't know about the other way around.

From a UK landline to any number in Thailand try dialwise ( 0844 861 5050, best check ) then put in the Thai number, missing of the 0 of the local code. 1p per minute. Not sure the other way.

u can can by a card called hatari from 7/11s ect. they work thai to uk and uk to thai, worldwide infact.so cheap its virtualy free.

Mobile from UK to Thailand mobile, sans internet: Lycamobile or Lebara. Normally 6p/min, less when deals are on. Better quality connection than with Skype but you get what you pay for.

free if both parties have viber app.

UK to Thailand, Skype is £9.66 for 3 months, and you can get a local Skype UK number to dial from your mobile.
