just wondering wot sort of time scale Flr visa takes to process at the moment in the UK ?

I sent my wife's application over 5 weeks ago.Money gone out my account in the first week .

we've also been and done the biometrics

The UKBA don't give processing times for FLR; they do give processing times for ILR, 3 to 6 months, and I can't see why FLR would be any longer than this.

Hopefully someone who has recently done it will post soon. But remember, as there are different reasons for applying for FLR and so different things for the UKBA to check, another person's experience may not necessarily be a guide to your experience.
