Based I presume on the book The Forgotten Highlander, about Jap treatment of the POWs on the Death Railway, being filmed at the moment in Kanchanaburi, The railway Man

I know lots of guys from Patts go along that trail on a more than frequent occasion and the barbed wire stopping access to Pack of Cards bridge has been loosened somewhat so its possible to get to the site

Could be as big as the 1953 (or was it 1956?) epic Bridge on the River Kwai

I think it is adaptation of Eric Lomax's The Railway Man, a great book.
