georgy
a both-foreign couple will apply for extension of stay retirement for him and dependend visa for her. The conditions for his visa are known. For the wife's dependend visa a marriage certificate might be necessary, although both carry the same family name. Is a translation of the marriage certificate to english and/or thai necessary? Must this document be verified, if yes by whom?
Mario2008
translation to Thai is not necesarry if it is in English. Since I understand it is not, might be easier to get a Thai translation to start with. I don't know if they will ask for legalisation of the document. That is normally done by your embassy confirming it is a real document, with their stamp have it translated by a translation agency and submit it for legalisation to the Thai ministry of foreign affairs. beano2274
and all the translations can only be done in Thailand, or they might not accept it.
