good morning... does anyone out there know the approximate distance and travel time from jomtien (pattaya) to koh samet? thanks.

Around 85 Km and about 2 Hours and then a short boat trip

Not so sure its 2 hours to be honest....

Last time I went it was around 50 minutes in a Minibus...??

From Jomtien (Chayapruk and beach road) by private car it took a little less than an hour to get to the boats. then the speedboat was pretty quick. Waited 20 minutes for the boat. Then it took 15 minutes to get in the boat and wait for a few others. then maybe 10 or so minutes to the island.
