I'm planning to attend Sandee Thai Language School in April 2013. Are this a good school to attend? If so, where are some good apartment around the school.

I presume that you're only interested in this school for the ED visa, in which case the quality of the school and teaching are totally irrelevant. There's absolutely no way you're going to make good progress with the language studying a mere 4 hours a week.

Hello viccone. Mainly I see many of the expensive short stay hotel in this area near R.C.A avenue, but you can try this one as its not to far away..

choksresidence webs com

It look OK on the website, clean and not so expensive.

But i notice the school is a healthy walk from the MRT, so is not hard to find an apartment anywhere along the MRT line.

About the school, i would also like to know about this as i will be wanting to get an ED visa soon. I see you you did mention April next year, but i myself will be looking to around February. If you are still checking the site you can PM me and can share info if you wish.

But i have been told this school have small classes and they offer a discount on the course even. if you believe the website testimony people seem very satisfied also.

I went there myself to see and did talk to one lady who was very nice, professional, and although a small setup everything did look good. Nice room and aircon all good.ect

As for this poster saying 4 hours a week is no use, IMO this is a big nonsense comment.

In fact you do not have a lot of time when in classroom environs with others to consider everything in much detail anyway so most of your study will be done at your home/apartment, so i dont know why this poster says this.

I have some Thai ability already so i hope to benefit from some solid structure or lesson plan and to get a better method to help my reading and hope this would speed up progress.

If you study and make notes at home the week before then 4 hours is enough to check over, revise, ask question whatever you need to know.

I dont think many others would even prefer to do more than this per week with all the errr other activities one must make the time for in Bangkoksmile.png
