I shall go by bus from udon thani to vientene and get a tourist visa there. How long time visa can I get and is it a problem that now I have a education visa that will expire?

Tell me also what document i need when I come to the embassy?

You may be able to obtain a two entry tourist visa and will need formal fee/photos/passport copies and fill out application. You do this at the Consulate section which is not in the same location as the Embassy.

1. Application for Thai visa. 2. Copy of front page of passport, copy of Lao visa and Lao entry stamp.

3. 2 photos. 4....1,000 bhat single entry, 2000 Bhat double entry.

Documents go in in the morning till noon. Documents are picked up the following day between 1 and 3 p.m..
