Uk Visit Visa To Uk Final Check!

Hey all,

Ok so it has been a while, but almost there with the visa application for a visa app for my gf to visit me for a month in July/August.

She will be applying for about 5 weeks in all, enough time so she can be at my sisters wedding, and also my birthday towards the end of August.

I have pretty much all of the documents i need now i reckon, and have been busy this evening putting together an index for the file.....was wondering if anyone thought i was missing something?

APPLICANT SECTION

1. Completed VAF1A form (i believe it is ok to fill out myself online, print and get the GF to sign it?) We went through it together already as a draft.

2. Her statement.

3. Passport Photocopy & Thai ID card

4. Employment Holiday Permission letter (been working there for 5 years in a tourist night market and is paid in cash every month).

5. Permission letter from Aunt (Her aunt looks after her 2 young children while my GF works in the city)

6. Divorce Document (Original & translated documents)

SPONSOR INFO

7. My statement

8. Sponsor accommodation invite letter (we will both be staying with my sister for the duration of the holiday)

9. Sponsor accommodation proof of ownership (copy signed by the post office to verify).

10. Sister wedding invitation

11. My financial records (im paying so will provide last 6 months payslips, bank statements)

EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP

12. My passport pages (showing numerous visits over past 5 years...all indexed for easy reference)

13. Passport colour photocopys of sponsor & applicant (also shows joint trip to Singapore & Indonesia in 2007)

14. Photo index (shows 50 photos of us in various places over the last 5 years...all indexed)

15. Evidence of flights & hotel bookings (not many as we never kept them before....didnt think we would be applying for visa in future ;-))

16/17/18. Facebook transcripts/Skype Chat &calls/Mobile bills to show we have been in contact with each other pretty much every day over the last 5 years.

19. Package scans to show she has sent me packages over the years (all dated)

20. Emails (going back to 2007)

21. Thai language study documents.

22. Western Union docs going back to 2007 & paypal going back last 6 months.

I have put it all together in a ring binder, but have heard it may not stay in this binder by the time it reaches the ECO desk! I have added an index though so hope it will be ok as not sure how else to put together!

Anything else im missing?

Our background have been together 5 years, and now its time for her to see the UK finally! Only a month, but we not really keen on making it permanent for the UK in the future as we both would prefer to live in Thailand...or certainly Asia anyway. Would just like my GF to finally get a chance to visit my family and be at my sisters wedding. Im paying for the holiday and can show i have 2k available funds to finance the trip.

Yes, it is OK for you to fill in the online form, print it out and she then signs it.
