This situation is the result of the unscrupulous greed of 2 companies and their respective management.

The interests of the consumers are neglected and ignored by this 2 companies.

As far as I am concerned: I did not buy the stupid box of GMM and I will kick TrueVisions out very soon.

The greed is on the part of UEFA not the broadcasters.

I watch Euro 2012 on cable Astro Supersport. They broadcast the football in Englisch.

They do not ask to buy an idiotic decoder, they do not ask to pay any fee. They do not cut of the signal.

The problems are originating through GMM and TrueVisions.

They are the greedy parties.

It's called business. They're in the business of making money, not just trying to please you.

True had plenty of time to come to a contract deal with Grammy,

just like Grammy did with the free terrestrial stations.

This is Truevisions cockup, so let the company take the heat,

certainly the customers are getting burned.

I have Sky-1 and True on the same dish, so I see it either way.

Grammy is making a huge increase in customer base via their essentially free broadcast of Euro 2012.

It is obviously intended as an investment in getting more set top boxes installed, and taking a piece of Trues Market. Not to dissimilarly to Trues Academy Fantasia trying to take some of Grammy's pop music market. These to biggies have been warring for some time.

In 6 months or so Grammy has gained half the market share of True's 10 year old monopoly shares.

1 million vs 2 million.

This is not a greedy move, but a shrewd market building move. Plus Grammy still makes money from

it's advertisers showing around the games, and the terrestrial stations fees.

Also True has provided Grammy with HUGE free publicity,

and massive negative publicity for True. Win Win for Grammy.

You can get the Grammy box for about 1,500 baht all over Thailand,

plug it in in place of Trues and you got the Euro 2012.
