Chaeng Wattana...Is There A Thai Post Office There?

Featured Replies

I've been to Chaeng Wattana a few times for 90 day reporting....and I seem to remember that downstairs (where the bank branches are) there is also an branch of the Thai Post office where you can mail envelopes.

Can anybody confirm this?

I need to do another 90 day reporting next week anyhow, so I could also also mail what I need to mail if there is in fact a Post office there.

Any information would be appreciated.

Been once could not remember, but there is a huge one further down the road towards Vibhavadi Rangsit but on the same side as Immigration, after the TOT building

Had a quick look at http://www.thailandpost.co.th/ and, typical, it doesn't give its branch locations.

However, it does give a link to a complaint form. Now THERE'S a waste of time!!cheesy.gif

The big Cheng Wattana post office branch is just up the street (about 100 meters or so before the government offices entrance).

I think there are some mail service type shops inside the government building, but I'd just walk down to the one up the street.

Was there yesterday and can confirm there is indeed a post office branch on the ground floor.
