    Thanks for the replies I now know what it is but I just had a large cobra in the basket after my baby Keets which the neighbor disposed of and duly ate it. Seems to be more snakes around this year I dont know why maybe because of the abundance of frogs this year. Anyhow thanks again Jim

    Definitely not a rainbow snake.
