The next time I come to BKK I need to ship some things back to myself. I need to get a couple carboard boxes to use in order to ship things. Where can I get them, does anyone know?

If you are shipping via the PO they sell boxes very cheaply, but even the largest is not too large. If you are using a shipping company or courier they supply boxes as part of the service. If you want used boxes you can usually buy those very cheaply from stores or the neighborhood recyclers. There are also companies that sell all sizes of boxes, but I can't think of any locations right now. I am sure that there is at least one street in Bangkok that sells nothing but boxes!

When I wanted cartons for shipping or storage I asked for some empties from one of the stores. If you see something you can use in a store - ask them for it when it is empty (one store took the stuff out and gave me the box right then.)

Everyone I asked was helpful and gave me some boxes. Photo copy stores/shops have good strong cartons.

You can always check with FedEx too!
