I sent this query to the support desk:

When I backtab after reading a forum thread I get multiple

and received this reply:

You should never ever use the back button in your browser on a forum.

Use the menu navigation instead.

I couldn't find menu navigation so sent the further query:

Thanks for your reply but please help an old man - where do I find menu navigation on the page?

No reply to this - can anybody else help???

Thanks.

You can do it manually by clicking on the Forum tab at the top of every page.

Alternatively there is a quick navigation tool at the top and bottom of each page which bypasses the need to go to the index page each time.

Thanks but the problem is when I have searched by new content and am reading the various selected threads. After reading a particular thread I want to return to the page of new threads to choose the next one to read and that is when the googleleads show. The Quick Navigation tool goes to the forum headings and not back to the new content.

As I said, it is not a big problem but is certainly a nuisance.

Thanks.

Just click on "View new content" again and you will get the list of the latest topics again.

George,

Thanks for this but, after reading a particular thread in 'new content', I want to return to the 'new content' list to select another thread to read. This is done on other boards by one click on the browser back button. This is where the googleleads get in the way on TV.

No problem, I'll live with it!
