Where To Buy Neck Pillow For Flying Long Flights In Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

Want a good quality one that actually works and lets me sleep on 12 hour flights.

Where to buy in Chiang Mai ??

thank you very much

Bought my latest one at the luggage department in Central KSK. Suspect also in Robinson at Airport Plaza. Worth investing in the best available, my preference is the inflatable one but I see more & more of the memory foam/ bead style which you cannot squeeze into your hand baggage. Good luck, they are essential in my view as a regular long haul passenger.

All the Boots drug stores have them in their travel aids section.

Keep an eye open for the occasional stalls that are set up at Rimping, and Big C, etc, selling airline paraphernalia. I bought mine there, but replaced at a local tailor shop the two flimsy elastic cords with one wide elastic with velcro as a fastener. Velcro allows tightening of the straps as the elastic loosens over time. Can't sleep now without one.

Big sports shop on 3rd or 4th floor of central plaza at the bottom of Huai Kaeo rd has them fairly cheap as well as sturdier seat cushions I intend to try on my trail bike for long journeys.

Tim.

The ones sold here are junk. Get a good one on-line like eBay or something. They sell them everywhere here. I got one here and used it on the bus to BKK and by the time we arrived it was already useless as it had an air leak. Central's accessories like that, umbrellas, etc. are more expensive and look a little better than the stuff sold at Thai markets but the quality is no better.

I bought one in Central and it was comfortable, but didn't last very long.

The cheap ones often have a seam that irritates.

I agree, get the best you can, it's worth the effort.
