International Connection At Ho Chi Minh/Thanh Son Nhat Airport - Need A Visa?

Hi,

Has anyone experience on this:

I have a 2-hour connection at Ho Chi Minh / Thanh Son Nhat airport (Vietnam) on my way from Bangkok to Europe (Paris). Do I need to get a transit visa for Vietnam, or is it possible to stay in the international area between flights?

How about checked-in luggage, can it be forwarded directly to final destination?

Are both segments on the same ticket? Who are you flying with???

Same ticket all the way, but Vietnam Airlines for BKK-SGN and Air France for SGN-CDG.

Bags will be checked all the way and you'll just have to wait in the international area for your next flight. Won't have to deal with immigration there. Luckily!! Have a great trip!

    I concur with craigt. You won't need a visa and will remain in the international (transit) area. You luggage will be checked through to your final destination.
