Visa Run For Re-Entry And Eventual Renewal

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I know this topic has been covered before but I can't find anything particularly up-to-date on the matter. I appreciate you taking the time to look at this again...

I'm currently on a triple-entry tourist visa from the UK and in a couple of weeks will need to activate my third entry. Can anyone recommend a good company in BKK for visa runs, please?

Also, once my final entry/extension expires, I would like to stay in Thailand a while longer - probably for a year. Heading back to the UK for another triple-entry isn't really an option as it's so damned expensive to do so. What are my other options, please? I gather I can just keep getting new tourist visas at bordering countries - for how long are these valid? Is there a way to get another triple-entry tourist visa without returning to the UK?

Again - thanks for taking the time. If I've missed a recent and relevant thread in my scan down the lists then apologies - feel free to point me in the right direction.

Before sure you do the 3rd entry before your visa expires (use before date).

The most you can get nearby is a 2 entry valid for 90 days. You should be able to get 2 of them without any problem at either of the consulates in Laos.

Australia might be the nearest place to get a 3 entry valid for 6 months.

You probably can get another double entry toruist visa in Laos, with extensions good for a total of 180 days.

For longer stay look into an educational visa.
