Jatuporn threatens to sue Constitution Court

The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Red-shirt leader Jatuporn Promphan on Friday threatened to file a police complaint targetting the Constitution Court for fabricating false statement against him.

The case came to light on Thursday after the high court authorised its legal counsel to file for his bail revocation at the Criminal Court, Jatuporn said.

At the high court's request, the lower court will on Monday convene a hearing on bail review, he said, vowing to rebut and fight for a stay of his bail.

He said the high court had neither the mandate nor the justification to intervene about his temporary release pending the completion of the judicial review on terrorism charges in connection with the 2010 political strife.

The high court had no involvement in the judicial review on terrorism, he said, arguing the bail review, if deemed necessary, should be initiated by the public prosecutors and not by the high court.

He said he understood that the high court wanted to retaliate against his critical comments on the judicial decision to intervene in charter change.

Tool of the highest order, who should be rotting in jail.

How are the constitution court "fabricating a false statement against him"?

All they are doing is filing for his bail to be revoked. It may not be in their jurisdiction to do that, but that doesn't mean they are fabricating anything. It will just mean that it won't be accepted by the criminal court.

Yes I believe in freedom of speech, but for balance there should be some freedom of quiet.

I am eagerly waiting for the day he's going to sue himself

Dear Khun J.,

stop using the other head for thinking.

Well, I can only assume that Charlem, The Justice Minister and Jatuporn were all in the pi** today at Friday lunch time. I can't remember a Friday afternoon where we had 3 such ridiculous statements/occurrences all announced at once. Simply brilliant! I so so hope they revoke his bail.

I'd like to sue HIM for all his false cries of "Coup" since the election.

This man has to be a prime example of the failure of the Thai educational system, family influence,(ask his mother), religous upbring, the social and political system as a whole and probably the medical provisions for those who are deemed a few slivrd dhort of a full loaf.

at which court do you sue the constitution court?

In Jatuporn's case, perhaps center court at Wimbledon for starters.

Why only threaten to sue? Just do it, if you feel wronged.

The bit about suing the CC seems a bit strange, unless theNation made a mistake there.

He has to, his head dosen't work.

Is it true he tried to sue someone at the food court?

i do not think he even understands the difference, nor do i think he understands basics about legal systems,

something as simple as " you can not sue high or constitution or low court" you can only appeal its decisions

All we need now is a Hub announcement, but these odious little turds have clearly either not been taking their meds, or having too much alcohol

Well thats the problem, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes"? as the great Alan Moore said whistling.gif

Bet he supports Millwall.

Why oh why didn't his mum and dad use a condom that night?

He is threatening every day. Is it possible to consider it as conducting blackmail. I think some courtshould look at it in this way.

Sorry Gonzo I only met you once and you did not strike me as the kind of chap who would be that kind to a first class useless piece of some thing that smells.

At what point will he become enough of an embarrassment to the point where Thaksin has no more use for him? Or now that I think of it maybe that is why Thaksin keeps him around to take the spot light off of him occasionally. It gives him a chance to look OK for a change.coffee1.gif

Many Thanks

I needed a good chuckle.

But don't put the idea in his head.

This has to be a new low for Jatuporn when not even you can defend him.
