Yes, as an un-original post it does seem to be a little bit easy.

But, let's try and predict the future.

If only for this evening's game of football (soccer)..

I'm taking Greece all the way to the finals, by the way.!

For me it's out and out tournament play, anything can happen........first goal is the winner for me, though I reckon that goal will come from Germany and they might open the floodgates after it. However Georges Samaras is the joker in the pack........that guy place 1 good game in 12, and 1 game every blue moon where he can rip any team to shreds. So my prediction??

Germay 3 Greece 0.................unless Samaras is on fire, the it will be Germany 1 Greece 2.

By the way I got 5 out of the first 16 games correct score. That's not a bad hit rate for correct score

Let me try and help you here but I must confess I've been on the vodka.

Englands group consisted of England,France, Sweden and the Ukraine, that means 4 teams in the group, each team play each other ONE time only which according to me means 3 games per team in this group, if one team wins all games then 3 points per game = a maximum of 9 points.

England drew against France= 1 point

England beat Sweden = 3 points

England beat Ukraine = 3 points.

1+3+3= 7 points and England came top of their group.

As others have mentioned each of the four groups had six group games, so a total of 24 group games.
