this little fella came into my house on koh phangan, it was an extremely stormy day and he snuck up the stairs and under the door. he went peacfuly but should i have been scared?

Really hard to tell because of the color artifacting in your photo, But my guess would be golden tree snake. Mostly harmless but has some mild venom. They are pretty fast but usually get out of your way if they can

Agree, golden tree snake. Very fast and agressive if cornered. Mildly poisonous, rear fangs, but not harmful to humans. Have been bitten a few times getting them out of my house.

golden tree snake it is then... cheers guys. got to say though for a golden tree snake it wasn't as beautiful as some of the other snakes i've seen there and not in the least bit agressive even when i had him cornered. thanks alot
