Four rented motorbikes stolen from shop in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--Two Thais are being sought by Police after they rented four motorbikes from a shop in Jomtien and failed to return them.

The owner of the M&R Motorbikes Shop in Soi Watboon is Khun Oorai aged 34 who told us how the two Thais, who claimed to be running a business close-by approached Khun Oorai and requested four motorbikes which were to be used by staff members of this new business until they could afford their own vehicles.

Khun Oorai was hesitant as she normally only rents bikes to foreigners and although suspicious she did allow the two to proceed with the rental agreement. At first, three bikes were taken and then later in the day a further bike was rented. Copies of the ID cards of the two individuals currently being sought were given to the shop owner as part of the agreement.
