Obtaining A One-Year Multiple Entry Non-Immigrant B Visa In Los Angeles Ca, Usa

Featured Replies

I have read that it is very difficult to obtain a Non-Immigrant B Visa in any Thai embassy in Asia. I will be returning home to California soon and can easily go to the Thai embassy in Los Angeles. Has anyone had experience obtaining this kind of visa there? Will I need anything further than a letter of invitation from a Thai company?

Thanks

I suspect you would also require proof of your company/representative employment as well.

It is not difficult to obtain a non immigrant B visa for work in Asia if you can provide the normal paperwork requirements.

Would I need anything more than a letter from a Thai company formatted the same as in the link below?

With that letter the only place nearby you have any chance of getting multiple entry B is at one of the honorary consulates in Australia.

Kl Malaysia will issue them if you have a work permit.

The best bet in the states would be at one of the honorary consulates there.

I'll be going to the Embassy in Los Angeles CA. That should be all I need right?

You would have a better chance of getting the visa from an honorary consulate such as Portland OR. They all accept mail in applications and normally do a same day turn around when they receive an application.

Have a look at this page on LA consulate website. http://www.thaiconsu...aspx?link_id=34

You should contact them before going in to apply for the visa.

Here is the MFA formal list of required paper work for a Non Immigrant Category 'B' Visa

Every Consulate/Embassy has their own read on these regulations, but I have heard that LA are pretty strict, so don't expect the Invitation Letter alone to work there.
