June 27, 201214 yr I can meet all the requirements necessary and have two companies, (a Thai and a British company) willing to provide an invitation letter, however - must I go to London to get the visa? I have heard that I definitely need to leave the country, but that Brisbane and KL are also places I can go to get the visa. Regards SB
June 27, 201214 yr If a UK national suspect you will have to travel to Oz or UK for such a letter to be considered for visa issue. For work such visas are available but for business travel type reasons suspect return to outside area will be required if not a resident/national of nearby country. That said not all companies letters would likely be equal - so if major firm expect exceptions would be more common.
June 27, 201214 yr For reference here is the list of requirements for a Non Immigrant Category 'B' Visa. http://www.mfa.go.th...482.php?id=2492 Meet these criteriae and you can get a three month single entry Non 'B' at most consulates in the SE Asia Region. If you plan to do any work in Thailand then the Work Permit is mandatory.
