Non Imm B Multiple Entry Visa Required

Featured Replies

I need to renew my 1 year non imm B multiple entry visa. I normally go back to Uk and get this in Hull with nothing more than my work permit and a letter from my employer (my wife)

I would like to achieve this in SEA if possible this year as I am a bit short of funds at the moment.

I work for my wife. We have no company. So no company papers. She owns our business.

I have a new 2 year work permit.

Does anyone know if I can get a 12 month visa in SEA, or do I have to find the funds and return to UK.

Many thanks in advance.

Contact the consulates in KL and Kota Bahru.

They are the only one giving multiple non-B in the region.

Can't you get an yearly extension based on marriage from immigrations?

You can hold a WP on that.

Is that definite PS? I can get a non imm O visa based on marriage at a consulate in SEA without invalidating my Work Permit

Maybe...some labour offices want you on a "B" visa if your working...I would check first...legally speaking yes you can get WP on a married visa

PS is posting about an One Year Extension of Stay obtained within Thailand based on having a Thai Relation (Police Order 777/2551 Section 2.18) - not the same as a One year Multiple Entry Non 'O' Visa obtained outside of Thailand.

There have been reports of problems renewing/getting WPs in some areas wth the Non 'O', but the One Year 2.18 Extension is normally ok.

You apparently are using one of the benefits of being married to a Thai by getting the work permit for your wife's sole proprietor business.

If you can show 40K baht income by showing tax payment or have 400K in the bank for 60 days you can get an extension of stay based upon marriage.

If not you should be able to keep your work permit on non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai. Just be sure that the consulate notes on the visa that it is based upon marriage. The consulate in Savannakhet Laos issues multiple entry non O's based upon marriage with no proof of income. KL asks for 100,000 in the bank or you could show tax payments for your income.

That's exactly what i've got, Ubonjoe, although I had no idea that's how I achieved it!!. Thanks for putting it into words. Savannakhet sounds like my best bet as I cant show money in the bank or tax receipts at the moment as its the low season. Does anywhere else, to your knowledge offer 12 month multiple entries on the same basis as Savannakhet, as I've been there beofre (not for a visa) and its not exactly the centre of the universe!!

In the region only Kuala Lumphur would be an alternative, but they require that you have at least 100,000 in a bank account (which can be abroad).
