Ibiza Visa

Featured Replies

Hello

If my girlfriend come to the UK on a tourist visa is it then possible to take her to Ibiza for a weeks holiday?

If so how and where to I obtain her visa for this?

Best Wishes

She will need to apply for a Schengen Visa via the a Spanish Consulate in Bangkok.

Similar levels of proof as for her visa to visit the UK, with the addition of proof of confirmed accommodation, proof of travel out of Schengen and medical insurance.

She must apply in Bangkok as she is not a resident of the UK.

Might be easy if she already has a valid UK visa, but depends on the evidence provided such as hotel bookings and flights.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies.

So she can apply for the visa without actually having a uk tourist visa, then travel from bangkok to ibiza and the return home after the week? How difficult is the visa to be approved??

Yes, she can apply for her Schengen visa without a visa for the UK.

Providing she meets the criteria she will get her visa, genuine visit, affordability, proof of accommodation and travel out of Schengen, insurance and, probably most importantly, a compelling reason to return to her home country.
