90 Day Reporting Form Lost, Or Is It?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I extended my Imm O visa about 2 months ago, I had the 90 day reporting slip in there but I think it was either lost or taken out by the Immigration officers, I am not sure.

As this happend last year when I extended my O visa, when I went 90 days after my extension, they asked bfor my form and I said I have no idea and they let me off.

Do I need one? or do I need to go 90 days after the extended date? If I need one I got to report it to the police station right.

I lost it 2 years ago too and they let me off, so how strict are they with it?

So my question is, did I still need my 90 day reporting slip even when I extended my visa or do I just need to go 90 days after the extension?

Thanks

You need to make report 90 days after your last report or last entry - only first extension of stay counts as a 90 day report. If last year was your first extension of stay you would not have had a receipt for your first 90 day report. If they have you recorded in computer they may not fine you but it could be a 2,000 baht loss. But you will have to make report 90 days from previous report within the 15 days early to 7 days late to have much chance of avoiding fine.

Ok, so I might need to get a police report, can I go to any police station?

Does it cost money? how long does it take?

Do not believe most offices will not require a police report; at least not if you are reasonable with them. Police reports should be done in area or loss if known, or tourist areas if not. Do not believe any charge but really do not believe it will be required.
