scorpio1945 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I am having a little trouble finding someone to install my windows, etc. in the house I am building. They are nervous to install farang style windows (ThaiAust from Homemart). Anyone know a good non nervous installer?
villagefarang Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Get your girl to contact my girl and they might be able to work something out. I would guess she has a number someplace but I don’t know where it might be.

Talked with the woof last night and she feels our guy would most likely be “nervous” as well. Sorry.
Garry Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 There is a compa ny called J-Man that build a lot of housing estates wuth westwern style homes: sliding glass doors & windows etc. I have a contact mobile number if you wish to give them a call. You will probably need your wife to talk with them. Let me know

She found someone from her village who installs windows and they did a test installation of one window. Said no problem. It was just a new thing for them. Actually easier just different.

We had to cut out the windows openings because the openings were too small (too much rendering?)and the cost was 2-3 times what we expected and the security bar people broke one of the windows. Oh well. TIT I do love having the screens and bars on the outside though.

scorpio1945 Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 That would have been the easy Thai way but I could not find anyone willing to fabricate with the screens on the outside which I was stubborn enough to want. I also liked the solid construction of the preframed type that I bought. (Thai Australian)

scorpio1945 Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 As opposed to having them on the inside I surely do. I would rather have none but as a gesture to the lille lady I grined and bore it. It does look a bit like Mexico though. i am sure the neighbors think it is weird.
