Oishi, Why Is It So Hot?

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Wonder if anyone still following this? We also bought in around 25 baht, it was taken over by the beer guy , who floated his thai company in Sing, but there is a small free float left. Mr Tan has left who initially started the company , he wass quite entreprenial

I like the idesa of green tea instead of ice coffee, more healthy, but I gather lots of competition

The OISHI cafe style restauranats do seem to be busy when I pass in a mall, Japanese food is all the rage more and more... it's a sort of lower/mid priced brand.

I think the main explanation is in stocks in Thailand, when you're hot you're hot, and when you're not , you're not. Wild swings in shares aren't unexpected.

We dont have huge holding so will hold onto them for the long term. We have become attached to them which is always a bad sign !!

They are one of the few shares we have which haven't been covered by Paul Renaud at thaistocks com

Regards
