Sky Trains

Featured Replies

Can anyone give me a rough estimate of time it would take to go from one end of the sky train line to the other, Starting at OnNut.Or from Bangna into the city which is the quickest way to travel. taxi , bus, sky train?

Thanks

If you were going from the street below one BTS station to any other BTS station more then a few stops away the answer almost always would be Skytrain. Maybe later at night when the trains are less frequent and there isn't so much traffic the balance might shift. But from On Nut to say Siam it is hard to imagine a time when BTS wouldn't be faster. The other factor however is how long it takes you to get to the BTS station and from the BTS station to where you are going. The "door to door" might make a big difference. That just depends on how long it takes you to walk, taxi, etc. to and from the BTS station.

When travelling by BTS, allow 90 seconds for travel between each station, plus 5 minutes to wait for the train. Add another 5 minutes if you need to change trains at Siam.
