luckylarry
I think that you can, because we used my UK pension to help get our loan from SCB to build a small house, it was easy that was the second time since repaid both.
Minime
I think SCB are the best bank to talk to. I have a UK salary and my wife has a Thai one, most banks, if not all were not really interested. Bangkok Bank OK'd a 70% mortgage after alot of pushing and SCB offered us 80%, again after pushing them. SCB were great and we got our house in the end. Both Bangkok Bank and SCB said we could get 90% but in reality they only give 70% if it's a Thai / Farlang couple. And I had to sign away all rights to the house, so if it goes tits up, can I stay at yours?
