Scary stuff that they are beginning to say it openly. Although it's been clear to anyone with open eyes that that is where the red shirts are trying to move society. This is going to be a nightmare land if these people win.

Opinion spoken openly is characteristic of Democracy. .All political parties have radical members on the periphery. It a measure of an inspired leader to be able to accept the views of all while relying their ability to steer the Juggernaut that is the membership toward rational and expedient policies that will benefit the Nation.

"All political parties have radical members on the periphery." Possibly, but they are still given party endorsement to help them get elected. PTP has a large group of radicals not elected by a constituency, but appointed under the party list system, most of whom have outstanding criminal charges deferred by that appointment, and whose appointment appears to be a reward for committing those criminal acts. Do you consider that as "politics as usual" or likely to benefit the nation?

Erm, Cambodia doesn't have democracy, it has a dictatorship run by a long term leader? So this is the type of democracy the reds want? A long term dictatorship run by Taksin?

You hit the nail on the head.
