You missed the point of my post. Another member is under the belief that once a confession is obtained from the suspect, the murder investigation ends there, it does not, and I gave one example of why it doesn't just end after a confession, being, were there any accomplices, either before, or after the crime. Here's another example, totally unrelated to this case. Say you pay me to kill someone. I kill the person but get caught and confess to the killing. The other member is of the belief the murder investigation ends there, it doesn't. Police will further investigate to find out who ordered the assassination. Money trail, phone records, meetings, instructions etc. Here is another example, and relevant to this case. Serial killers. If you catch someone for one murder, but the modus operandi (MO) is the same as other killings, you would further investigate to see if the person is responsible for the other murders, as they are doing with the other two bodies found in suitcases, in Pattaya, and this guy.
