It would be convenient for me to get a Thai Single Tourist Visa in the country where I'm at the moment, but I would like to use this visa the second time I arrive in Thailand. The first time I only will be a few hours at the airport, although it's not a transit flight.

Can I ask the immigration officers to give me a 30-day visa exempt stamp, so that I can use my Thai Visa later, or is that not allowed?
