I think if you post the link in a discreet, separated kind of way, like this:

www. mylink. com

Or say that "mylink" comes between the www and the com-

that you'll be ok... just means that traffic won't go directly from this board to another board, and the spiders and robots and so forth can't jump using it.

Of course, I'm not a mod, so I dunno... but either way, I'd be interested in the link, too.
