July 17, 201213 yr I am helping my Thai brother-in-law with his visa application for a holiday in the UK. I am unclear what to put for Section 5 of the visa application, Employment & Finances. In a note they state "Children under 18 should enter their parents details". Does this mean we should include the parents' total income and property under Income & Expenditure?
July 17, 201213 yr Is your brother in law under 18? If he is, complete this section with his parent's details; If he isn't, complete it with his.
July 17, 201213 yr Author Thanks for the reply. I should have been more clear. My brother in law and his wife are travelling to the UK with their 3 children who are all under 11. So I understand that we use the combined financial statement of both parents for this section of the childrens' visas. Do we need to copy the same supporting financial documents the parents are submitting so we have a set to submit with each child's visa application? Edited July 17, 201213 yr by pj123
July 17, 201213 yr You should be able to link the applications so you do not need to repeat everything. I suspect officially you should but as long as they are cross-referenced clearly I suspect the ECO will breath a sigh of relief that he or she does not have to check every word! This was never a problem for my wife and daughter. I wrote see application for Mrs XXXX on the relevant sections. They should be processed together anyway.
