Hi everyone,

I hope you are ok. I've today 17/07 applied for a tourist visa from UK (italian nationality) from the 28/08.

I've been released from work a week early, so I would be able to flight from the 18/08.

would that be a problem? do I have to wait until the 28th?

Your visa is valid from the day it is issued, so you can travel as soon as you get your passport back :)

Yes the validity starts on the day of issue.

If you applied by mail you may wish to call them as they may hold off issue until close to your travel date - although suspect this would not be the case with a next month date as you have.
