Has anybody seen it in Bangkok, either imported or grown here?

true wild rice cannot be grown here but must be imported as it really is a mixture or 4 wild grains grown in the marshes in the great lakes area of the US. Then harvested in canoe like boats by driving among the plants, bending the stalks over the boat and beating them with stick to knock out the grain seeds. Yes, I love wild rice but it is very expensive in US, if you find it here my guess it would be outrageously expensive.

When I first came to Thailand about 7 years ago, Rim Ping supermarket in Chiang Mai had it in stock. I bought the last bag and haven't seen it since.
