JSCM2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Share Posted July 21, 2012 Just received paperwork / passport back and 2 letters, 1 stating that we'll receive a BRP in the next 10 working days and another ambiguous but standard letter. At the top it in large bold writing it states: "These notes are for information purposes only and do not convey the grant of ILR." But beneath that it states "Your application for ILR has been approved........." Is this part of the process and we need to wait for the BRP?? or despite the contradictory wording assume that it has been granted??? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
7by7 Posted July 21, 2012 Share Posted July 21, 2012 I imagine that if it says ILR has been approved, then ILR has been approved; subject to obtaining the biometric residence permit. From the terminology used I assume you are talking about the UK; so have amended the topic title to show this.
