LDNBKK86 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hi This week we will be flying back to the UK with our little boy, he is 15 months old. We first flew when he was 4 months. That was reasonably easy as he slept all the way. We flew back to the UK again when he was 8 months old. That was a disaster. Didn't sleep at all. It was probably our fault as we got ourselves stressed out and forgot important items such as food..... Luckily the airline (Emirates) had a plentiful supply of cow & gate baby food as well as fruit on board - we were saved. This time around however we want to be better prepared. I would like tips from anyone who has travelled with their child at around the same age, 15 months on a long haul flight. I must add that we have a stop over in Dubai for 2 hours. What are your thoughts on direct flights as opposed to indirect - BKK to UK. Thanks for your advice.
Forethat Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Seems a genuine question ... can no-one help? They got on a 12 hour flight with an 8-month old and forgot to bring food for him/her...?This guy is beyond help, I'm afraid...

I admit that throughout the first year of being a new father I made many mistakes. This is part of the learning experience. We are now back in the UK and the flight went really well. He was grumpy for the first hour, then slept the whole way.
